Encompassing 126 apartments in two seven-story buildings, Loomis Courts is an original component of the ABLA portfolio. Loomis sits on a leafy, 3-acre parcel in a revitalizing area where affordable housing is increasingly at a premium, and new investments are evident on surrounding blocks. POAH responded to a CHA Request for Proposals in 2025 by proposing an extensive renovation of the two Loomis buildings, a new management and amenities center, and landscape improvements. POAH and CHA will co-develop the property and share in property ownership, and POAH’s affiliate, POAH Communities, will serve as the property manager upon completion of the renovations.
